Spanish Home Food

The menus to choose from were, sardines and salad to satrt, then there is a choice for main course of paella, roast chicken, rabbit in garlic, roast lamb or pork all served with chips. Everything was cooked over log fires, I believe that they always cook in this style, the food tasted very good.

No vegetables are served with the main of course, just chips. This isn't unsual in Spain, as the first course provided salad and sardines, or a chorizo on bread for our party, as they had run out of the fish. It was plentiful, cheap and traditional, with wines and drinks included, also sweets wereincluded, you just can't knock it!

After returning to this great little restaurant, 20 years on, in the middle of nowhere, we were again, not disapointed. Traditional home cooked food, generously seved, basic setting and service, good prices, good value food......This is the Spain we remembered.
